Adidas Forest Hills PT

ADIDAS FOREST HILLS. This Forest Hill model does not look like a normal Forest Hill design. At first, I thought it was a special edition Campus or the mesh actually reminded me of the vintage Nastase or Stan Smith. But no, this is really a hard to find Forest Hills model. I bought my first pair at Shoe Salon for around 5500 pesos. I just love this pair, the comfort, the design and how it made even the most boring pair of jeans look good. I paired them with almost any attire, shorts, jeans, and anywhere. I dearly loved them until one hot and busy day in December 2011. I vividly remember this. I was helping out in our warehouse sale and suddenly I felt something weird, something uncomfortable and totally out of being. When I looked down, I was so shocked - the half sole of my right shoe fell off in the middle part. I panicked, tried to pick up the pieces but everything slowly crumbled. I trudged along numbly, trying to gather my thoughts and my wits. (Although I still was able to go to Trinoma for the opening of the Sperry Store). I went to Shoe Salon, and asked if they still have any stocks or can get a special order for me, but they could not help me. I spent that night, and a good 3 more days, surfing the internet, looking for a replacement. There was none ... I was already losing hope and just as a last ditch effort, I summoned all my faith and prayed to God. "Lord, pls help me find a pair". And  miracle of miracles, when I typed Forest Hills images, there! right in front of me, I saw the Sportie LA site. I did not even take time to look at the price, I input my size and clicked the buy button in less than a minute. Thank you Lord! I got my pair in time for Christmas. My Christmas gift to myself.

Sole Searching: Lanvin 2012 Men's Collection

My first post has got to be Lanvin's 2012 Men's shoes.  Can't seem to take my mind off this collection. I was cruising (ahem|!) through the stores at Edsa Shangri-la when all of a sudden, my heart skipped a bit, it had palpitations, and lo and behold! i fell in love, so in love... that i summoned all my strength to enter Homme et Femme. They were just perfect, the shoe shape, the woven borders and the micro pearl beading. They absolutely reminded me of my Charlie Brown black school shoes when I was in grade school. And the Men's size 5 was a perfect fit! (i normally wear 6.5 or 7 men's). I was wearing a pair of green shorts at the time and you know what, they actually looked good. I will definitely get this pair... i hope that they are still available when i go back!
